2 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
1/4 cup chopped onion
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon butter or stick margarine
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups fresh broccoli florets
1/4 teaspoon salt
8 ounces uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cook the pasta according to the directions, al dente.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, sauté onion and garlic in oil until tender, about 3 minutes. Add broccoli and salt and cook over medium high heat for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add shrimp and cook for another 3 minutes or until shrimp turns pink. Drain the pasta and transfer to a bowl. Add the broccoli mix and toss gently. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
