Every Sunday morning, I grab my coffee, sit at the kitchen table and plan out my meals for the week ahead. I use a printable grocery list and determine how many meals I will be eating at home that week. I then pick the recipes (usually five) that I plan to cook. I make my grocery list from the recipes by dividing them up into sections in the grocery store. This cuts my shopping time in half and ensures that I don't forget any recipe. There is nothing more annoying than zig zagging through the store because I keep forgetting things! So, I have attached my template for you to print out each week! Just take your recipes, copy down the ingredients under the proper section (i.e. Produce, Refrigerated/Frozen, Shelved, and Meat). I add anything to the list that we may be missing for our household. Voila! I have a grocery list to take with me to the store! I save money and time! Below is a sample month of how I do things!! Take a look and learn how to keep it simple!
